What does the staff wear? Our professional staff is attired in black pants, shirt and tie with a bistro apron.
If I provide the alcohol can Catering by George serve it? Yes
How does payment work for events? We require a 50% deposit upon signing the contract with the balance due the day of the event. We accept most major credit cards, checks and wire transfers.
Can you stop by and see the space before the event? Yes, as part of the catering proposal process, we would be happy to come see the location to confirm and finalize all event details.
How far in advance do I need to order? Ordering deadline is 3:00 p.m. for next day delivery. All new orders & changes to existing orders must be received no later than 3 p.m. Please note there are times our delivery schedule requires us to close out the day before 3 p.m.
What is all provided with the delivery? All necessary serving pieces, plastic ware & condiments are included. Hot lunch selections are set up buffet style in chafing dishes.
How early and late can we deliver? Our regular delivery times are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are available for after hours deliveries, please call your sales coordinator for availability.
Do you pick up? Yes, Equipment will be picked up the same day of your delivery, except for evening deliveries which will be picked up the following business day.
Is there a charge for after hours? Yes, delivery rates start at $50.00 for deliveries before 7 am and after 5 p.m.
Can you provide a server for the lunch? Of course! Professional staff is available with at 5 hour minimum.
Can we deliver on Saturday? Please call to confirm availability for Saturday or Sunday orders.
Is there a minimum for delivery? Yes, $100.00 minimum for delivery, 8 per person for cold items, 10 person minimum for meals.
What type of upgrades are available for deliveries (linens, tables, china, etc)? Upgrade luncheon disposables to clear acrylic plates, tumblers & utensils for $2.75 per person. China, flatware, glassware & linens are available for rental; consult your catering coordinator for pricing.
I am hosting a holiday dinner party in my home, can you assist me? Yes, in addition to corporate locations and event facilities, we also provide catering services at your home.
Do you provide catering for Quinceañera receptions? Yes we do! For one client we not only provided the catering for his daughter's Quinceañera but her 30th birthday celebration as well!!
Can you assist with other aspects of the wedding like venue selection to selecting other vendors? Of course! Catering by George can assist you with venue selection, valet, furnishings, tableware, decorations, entertainment and anything else you need to ensure your wedding day runs smoothly.
We do not require catering, but just need bar service. Can you assist? Maybe! We are licensed by the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission (TABC) to sell and serve liquor, wine and beer, and offer bar services as a part of your catered event. Let's talk and see if we can assist you. If not we are happy to make vendor recommendations.
What additional services can you provide? Catering by George can make arrangements for the venue, valet, furnishings, tableware, decorations, entertainment and anything else you need to ensure your event runs smoothly.
We do not require catering, but just need rental items? Of course!! We are pleased to offer additional services and rental items as a part of your catered event, as well as assist you with rental items for a meeting or special event.

How far in advance do I need to order? We do require 48 hours notice.
How do I reheat my casserole? We will send reheating instructions with your order.
Can I purchase disposable serving items with my take away menu? Yes, we offer a wide range of disposable items from chafing dishes to acrylic plates and serving utensils.
