We are so excited to be open again and cannot wait to cook for you. As part of our commitment to make everyone feel confident and comfortable, we want to personally let you know what we have been up to! Since closing in March, we have been busy putting our time to good use cleaning and painting, revamping menus, training staff on new procedures and cross training.
First and most important our menus have been redesigned to offer individually packaged meals for delivery to your office and a new square site to order chef prepared meals for home. All the same great, yummy food individually packaged for your safety. Both menus are available either curbside pickup or delivery with staff wearing gloves and masks.
We performed a deep clean on our building from the ceiling tiles down to the floors then removing all the equipment to re-paint the walls and floors. All equipment was deep cleaned and sanitized again before returning it to the kitchen, dish washing and warehouse. Changes have been made to all work spaces in the office, kitchen, and warehouse to allow our team to work while social distancing.
We have always practiced cleanliness and proper sanitation for the protection of our valued clients as well as our team who we consider family. Everyone on our team is Serv-Safe certified plus 6 of our team members City of Houston Food Manager certified. The health, wellness, and safety has always been our top priority and at the center of everything we do to deliver the freshest foods with extraordinary service.
Since returning to work our current sanitation procedures have been ramped up to ensure the health and safety of everyone including new protocols such as:
- wiping all surfaces throughout the day more frequently than recommended: counters, desks, keyboards, any frequently used surface
- temperature checks upon arrival to work
- proper social distancing to keep team members six feet apart
- employees, visitors, and vendors must wear a mask when entering the building
- ongoing updates to procedures and protocols to reflect new development
The importance of following food safety precautions has always been stressed with our team. Those precautions such as hand washing, wearing gloves when prepping food, sneezing into your elbow, and staying home when you are sick have always been our policy.
Since 1988 we have proudly served Houston’s small businesses, corporations, and families; now we look forward to serving you in this time of need. We hope you and your family are safe and well.
All the best,
Kim and Jeffrey George
